  • Comment about Custom Child Portrait : Claire :

Oh, wow. That is just beautiful. I don’t have children, but it sure makes me wish I had that little girl! I love the simplicity of the medium. I’m an exceedingly amateur photographer, myself, and I’m really into macro stuff, particularly bugs and flowers. Simplicity, I guess you could say. So I think that’s why this one struck such a chord.

Leanne, Your talent is amazing. I just lost my dog, Raskal of 14 years. He was the light of my life. It took me a long time to get over this lost as he was like a child to me. This portrait looks almost like him. The detail is amazing. You are one very blessed lady to be able to capture all that you do in your paintings. Not just the detail, but the personality of the subject as well. Your amazing.

I’m thinking about having a portrait done of my Raskal. If I do decide to do it, I will contact you. I know you would do the best job at it. Thanks for sharing your beautiful work with us. Hugs Diana

Totally and without question a real work of art. It makes me think of where the lamb shall one day lay down with the lion. Although, if, I were the lamb I would hope that the lion had had a good meal before I came along. Ha Ha. It would be terrible to be lamb chops.

Leanne, you did a wonderful job. I’m very happy with the design. The colors are beautiful and the site is welcoming. The header is my favorite with the tree hiding in the shadows and backdropped by the blue late Victorian wallpaper. I’m especially thrilled with the layout and tools it gives me to keep my site organized. I’m a sidebar clutter junky and I love anything that helps me keep it organized and pretty.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Our blog design goddess has saved us once again, getting our third blog design in the water - very SEA FRESH and GORGEOUS!

We don’t only LOVE it, we ADORE it - both Mr Lifecruiser and I. Plus: I get to be a mermaid! YEAHHHH!

You’ll never know what she’ll float up to the surface with, so it’s always a thrill to work with her.

She really know how to salvage you from the decompression sickness you get from trying to find a nice enough cover out in the big deep WordPress Ocean and you have ended up on the sea bottom with nothing to put on you…

Honking the Ship horn as a humble thank you for our Lifebuoy Leanne!

    Hi Emily,

I’ve been fortunate enough to have a God given talent and the opportunity to

hold firm on all of my asking prices.

If you have the talent, use it, wherever you can. Give it away for free,
just for the chance to use your skills.

    Happy New Year!

just thought id let you know, i just adopted a small black cat with ice blue eyes. they change color sometimes. they can be pure blue, turquoise, and even sometimes pure white (which is kind of freaky). Hes still a kitten but he is part siamese (you can tell by his long legs, painful meow, and of course, the blue eyes) so he will get to keep them!

We recently lost our beloved Emily (11/28). She had been our faithful companion for the past 14 1/2 years. I would love to have a portrait done for my wife for Christmas if possible. I realize the time is short but it would really mean a lot to her.

Emily’s mom was a cockapoo and we always said her dad came from a good neighborhood. She was just a mutt but she was so very special.

    Hi Monique,

I use Dr. Ph. Martin’s Bombay India Inks.

They behave like watercolor, only I use them on canvas. They’re really quite beautiful, when applied in layers and left undiluted. All I can
recommend you do is grab a set of colors and a canvas panel - and experiment. Get a set of taklon brushes and the pen cleaner to clean your brushes when you’re finished, otherwise you’ll be tossing them away. :)

    Happy painting!

  • Comment about Custom Dog Portrait : MacTavish :

We also lost a scottie recently, his name was Mac , His real name was Mcguire after Mark Mcguire we got him in August of 98 during the home run derby. See we live right across the river from St. Louis and are huge Cardinals fans. But he was know as MAC and sometimes MACKIE. He was just 3 weeks shy of his 9th birthday and succumbed to thyroid cancer. There is such a hole in our hearts even though it is still so raw I don’t think it is anything that my husband and I will ever be able to totally get over. Scotties are a very unique breed and have the most wonderful and loyal personallity. So I would like to inquire about a painting the same size of our special friend.

  • Comment about Custom Blog Design : The Healing Change :

I really love what Leanne created for my site. It really fit the concept and me. She even came up with the rotating quotes at the top of the pages (and found ones that she had received that seemed to be just perfect for my site too!)

She finished the site before her expected completion date, made herself available to me for tweaks and changes and really set things up so it would be easy for me to just step in and go.

Leanne’s work speaks for itself and her warm, intelligent manner (not to mention her fabulous design skills) made our partnership a pleasure.

  • Comment about Curious Ducklings :

I just wanted to follow up with you one more time to let you know that I framed up the little Ducklings and gave them to my 5-year-old niece. I was a little concerned because it was the only thing I was giving her for her birthday and it was not a toy!
Well, she opened the box, yelled out, “OH, MY, GOD!” and bent down and kissed the middle duck on the forehead. How precious is that? She now wakes up to them looking at her every day.

Thanks again for digging out the jpeg from your archives. You touched the life of yet one more person.

This is the design that Leanne did for my blog and I am so pleased with how it turned out. It’s absolutely perfect!! I had this image in my mind that was similar to the cover of one of my books. I showed Leanne the cover and the ideas I had. I never thought anyone would be able to make the image in my mind a reality but Leanne did just that. She even add extra detail as a surprise (Those pictures on the wall are real pictures of my dog, friends, and family. And the website on the computer is the image of my other christian blog.) She went above and beyond on this graphic and I couldn’t be happier. :)

  • Comment about Pet Portrait : Possy III :

Well isn’t this just the sweetest little thing. I don’t think I would have ever considered painting a possum…mainly because they don’t stand still very long, but mostly because they have such a negative reputation.

    Leanne -

I wanted to let you know I loved the cat painting my wife (Kristy) had done for me for Christmas! I cannot believe how much it really looks like all of them. We already have it hung above our couch. Kristy said it was great to work with you, and if we have know of anyone else who is looking for a painting, we will definitely recommend you to them. Thanks again for the excellent work!

  • Comment about Dog Portrait : Matisse & T-bone :

Hi, Leanne! Greg loved it! I’ve attached a picture of it framed - I had a glare when I had it straight on so it’s at a bit of an angle unfortunately. Greg said it was the best Christmas gift he’s ever gotten and on a scale of 1-10, it’s a 15. It completely exceeded all of his expectations. He was thrilled and couldn’t believe how realistic the dogs were. He said we should get rid of the real dogs (because they’re a couple of troublemakers) and keep the picture dogs since they’re so well behaved! =-)

Thank you so much and Happy Holidays!
